Salmon Patty Burger Recipe

Salmon Patty Burger

This is a simple, fast, and yes, delicious AND healthy recipe, if you’re into salmon that is.

What you’ll need:
1 can–14.75 oz.–pink salmon (make sure to pick out any bones if you don’t get boneless!)
1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
3 tbsp. mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 tbsp. fresh chopped parsley
1/4 tbsp. sea salt
1 clove of garlic, minced (or a bit of garlic powder if you don’t have minced)

1-2 tbsp. of olive oil for skillet
Hamburger buns if you want to make burgers!

Directions:
1. Drain and flake can of pink salmon in a medium bowl (pick out bones if necessary), throw in all the ingredients minus olive oil and buns. Blend well.

2. Shape into 8 patties.

3. In a large skillet, heat 1 to 2 tbsp. of olive oil and cook over medium heat until both sides are brown.

4. Pull out some hamburger buns, if you want, add whatever toppings, serve and enjoy!

    • Not sure how it took me so long to see the comments on this post, but such is life! I think they’re great without the bun too! My husband’s a burger guy, so I’ve discovered it makes it more appealing than just a plain patty.
