Day 9 of Countdown to Oliver: Carpets and Floors

More nesting stage! Today, I cleaned the carpets and floors. In-between, of course, an amazing surprise baby shower! What a wonderful day.

Luckily, we’d already shampooed our carpets a couple weeks ago. We didn’t use as natural of a carpet cleaner as I’d prefer, so it’s probably best we did it a few weeks before baby comes home. Other than that, I did a good vacuum of the house and Swifter-ed the floors. Not too hard or time consuming, and not necessarily a ton of fun either. I did have a helper though, which was cute.

I can’t say I have any super creative or unique tips for cleaning your carpets or floors; it’s pretty straight forward. I can, however, say I bought the $10 Swifter and was not impressed. I’d suggest upgrading or full out mopping instead.
